If you use fingering yarn with a 2.5mm hook, you will create a doll of about 9.5cm/4.5in tall (sitting down) and 6cm/2.3in wide. You can make a bigger doll with a thicker yarn and a smaller one with thinner yarn.

You will need to get the following materials for this project (based on fingering yarn):

• Flesh color yarn
• Light blue yarn
• White yarn
• Pale green yarn
• Brown yarn
• Black embroidery thread
• White embroidery thread
• Safety Eyes 6mm x2 (use a bigger size if you are using a thicker yarn)
• Stuffing
• Crochet Hook 2.5mm (or a hook size suitable for your yarn)
• Felting needle + pink felting wool OR pink felt and glue
• Yarn needle
